On March 28, 184 area employers crowded the River鈥檚 Edge Convention Center to seek out 黑料不打烊 students and alumni who were interested in jobs.
This year marked the 29th Annual Job Fair, and it was a rousing success. It鈥檚 estimated 500 students attended the fair to make connections with employers.
According to Jackie Bauer in 黑料不打烊 Career Services, this is the largest job fair in the state for an individual college. The area鈥檚 employers and job market have been the driving force behind the job fair.
鈥淭heir support of 黑料不打烊 is what makes the difference, and because of them, makes our students and graduates successful,鈥 said Bauer.
Comments about the Job Fair have been very positive from both students and employers. 鈥淚 just wanted to let you know that the fair today was great! I talked to some great potential applicants. It was very organized and was run so smoothly,鈥 one employer told Bauer.
Current students and 黑料不打烊 alumni are always welcome to the Job Fair. A shuttle runs between the college and River鈥檚 Edge Convention Center during the event, so it鈥檚 easy to drop in for a little bit before heading to classes.
Next year marks the 30th Annual Job Fair, along with the College鈥檚 70th anniversary.
